My Role
As a parent educator and author, I use my books as a springboard to deliver workshops and talks addressing core PSHE topics. I help to build emotional intelligence and resilience in students while empowering parents and teachers to support their development. Each workshop is tailored to align with the curriculum and specific needs to drive change.
How I work with children
I create a safe, fun space for students aged 3-8, to explore their emotions using my picture books. Through storytelling and high-energy interactive workshops and activities, I help both SEND and mainstream students to understand, express and manage their emotions, in a way that’s engaging and easy to grasp yet feels supported.
How I work with parents and caregivers
As a parent educator working with schools and educational organisations, I give talks to parents to help support their children’s emotional wellbeing. Using my hands-on Daesy Dialogue toolkit, I equip them with practical tools to confidently support their children and engage in conversations enabling meaningful change.
By working with parents, as well as their children, I ensure everyone is on the same page making it easier to navigate emotions together.
How I work with teachers
I offer workshops, strategies and resources to support emotional growth in the classroom. These tools help educators identify complex situations more proactively and create opportunities for open, honest conversations in a safe environment. I provide strategies for teachers to actively support children’s emotional development and build trust within the classroom.
